Luke Guthmann is a philosophical counsellor using a rational and analytical approach to help people work through personal problems. Luke can help you overcome personal challenges through rational thinking, logic, and practical action. Rooted in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, it focuses on the idea that many of our emotional responses to challenges are not caused directly by external events, but by our interpretations and rationalisation of them. Through this approach, you can learn to identify and overcome personal challenges by replacing them with more rational-constructive perspectives, and actionable steps they can take.

Both approaches aim to support individuals in navigating personal challenges, however, philosophical counselling using logic-based methods emphasises structured reasoning and rationality to address personal challenges. The logic-based approach is well-suited for individuals who want to overcome personal challenges that are not causing significant distress, and not a mental health disorder.

A session is up to 75 minutes long and cost $215.00.

There are no medicare of private health rebates available.

Currently services are mobile where I come to you (Gold Coast or Brisbane), or over the phone.
